Helping the community is what we do
I've had the privilege of being a part of the Cromwell Lions Club for the last 14+ years which provides endless opportunities to give back to the community. Everything that is done within the Lions Club is done by volunteers helping different causes to fundraise or improve the town that we live in. Take a look below at a snippet of things that I have been involved with.
New Car Ports at the Den
To help protect the caravans for catering I offered my team and I to build two new carports to help protect them from the weather free of charge.
Some of the events we attend range from: Speedway, Highlands, Cromwell Races, Ford Day and Cromwell Light Up.
Pagola & BBQ set up
Teaming up with the Lion Club and local businesses to relocate and install a pagola and BBQ area to be enjoyed by locals and visitors at the lake.
Light Up Cromwell
A group of volunteers worked together to set up an enclosed ice rink for Light up Cromwell for children and adults to enjoy.
Thomas the Tank Engine
The Lions Club have Thomas the Tank Engine which offers children and adults the opportunity to ride around in the carriages. You'll see Thomas appear at many events all year round with volunteers in the club driving.
